During WWII – Italy, at the front, 1943
It was raining again when 200 men of the 107th and two nurses – you and madam Jones – walked out into the woods. You had traded your white nurses uniform for something more comfortable. Women were normally not supposed to wear pants, but because there weren’t any women’s soldier uniforms, you were wearing a men’s uniform. It felt a little weird, but at least the men had stopped staring at your legs. If it weren’t for your long hair and female features you could have easily pretended to be one of the guys.
